My grandpa gave me my first camera when I was in 1st grade – a clunky, old, point-and-shoot camera. No instant preview capabilities. At least it had auto-focus, I suppose. I went through a lot of rolls of film without knowing how much it cost.
And you guessed right, that’s me taking a selfie alone at summer camp while the rest of the kids were having fun playing in the park. You can see that I’m pressing the remote with my left hand. Says a lot about myself back then, eh? To this day, I still love taking selfies (with friends of course).
