90.1 FM KZSU

Stanford’s student run radio, KZSU, is housed in the basement of an auditorium, and the interior almost looks like a time capsule from decades ago. Although its presence among students on campus has declined over the years, the station still broadcasts music, talk shows, and live coverage of sports run by dedicated students and faculty members, and its shows are enjoyed by the surrounding community.

One of the shows is called the State of the Human run by the Stanford Storytelling Project. The show features a variety of stories told by college students. While the world is moving at the speed of light with social media, the Stanford Storytelling Project aims to help students express themselves through carefully crafted, compelling stories that evoke strong feelings and interest.
